Description:
This preset makes creative use of Massive X's flanger effect to create eerie and horrifying ambience ideal for cinematic action games.
This was actually my alternative entry to the competition but I decided to enter my other preset instead because I thought this one was too dark and creepy. But happy to be sharing it with you all now, though!
Manual Controls:
Macro 1: Attack - Controls envelope attack time
Macro 2: Release - Controls envelope release time
Macro 3: Suspense - Controls Random LFO Level that affects Asimov Filter adding audio noise and edge. Off gives soft ambient sound
Macro 4: Flange Pitch - Controls L+R time knobs on Flanger which results in a pitch shift, and when turned to 100%, becomes total chaos
Macro 5: LFO Level - Turns main switcher LFO on or off. 100% activates the War Horn/Siren sound; 0% enters a sustained ambient mode without Horn/Siren
Macro 6: LFO Slow - Halves the speed of the main switcher LFO making War Horn/Siren play in longer intervals
Macro 7: Heartbeat - Controls volume of Heartbeat sound that adds extra suspense
Macro 8: Drop - Lowers main synth by three octaves (Horn/Siren pitch won't change with this control)
Mod Wheel - Adds a 16th note Tremolo effect to main Amp volume
