Can I set up a sustain pedal in Komplete Kontrol with an Akai MPK Mini Plus?

I've watched seemingly every video I can find, and nothing has worked. I never get the MIDI editor control button, which I'm reading is only available on specific NI keyboards. In the MIDI Learn screen all I see are buttons and knobs.
I know the pedal is working because the keyboard shows the input. I know KK sees it because if I select a knob in MIDI Learn I can press the pedal to assign it. But I'm getting zero options to configure the pedal itself. I know I could probably do something to get it to work in a DAW, but my current setup is DAWless and I'd prefer not to have to use one only for a sustain pedal.
Is this functionality just straight up missing for all but a few keyboards?

Hello,
you can't and don't have to set the pedal up within komplete kontrol. If you need to change the midi cc it sends you so it on the keyboard or with an akai editor if one exists. Some instruments will react to cc 64 like pianos or if you want to control something else you set it maybe to another cc number and midi learn the function as you already found out.
P.S. I found out in the manual that you can't edit the midi cc for the sustain pedal input so it's set fixed to cc 64 I guess but you can midi learn functions anyway
