    @Matthew_NI Nice to meet you.
    I purchased a s88mk2 today and I am very happy with it.
    My production environment is windows 11 + reaper7 + vienna ensemble7.
    I applied the v3.41 update to komplete kontrol and reaper is working fine without crashing.

    @Matthew_NI I could not believe my eyes when I saw the message FIXED Komplete Kontrol freezing in Reaper.

    I confirm that Komplete Kontrol v3.4.1 now works as VST3 effect loaded on a REAPER track without freezing REAPER 6 or 7. By using the 3rd party REAPER plugin DrivenByMoss (and our own developed native plugin), full DAW integration is working for S61/S88 Mk3 keyboards without changing REAPER.

    The fix came as a surprise as we literally gave up a while ago, but finally I would say: Thank you! Very happy that there is finally a solution.

    OMG finally…. So glad this is fixed. It's been a PITA dealing with old installs and some library incompatibilities from this bug.

    Just tested it and it seems to be good.

    @Matthew_NI I installed KK 3.4.1. I can verify that it seems to be working now. I have Windows 10, the latest version of Reaper with ReaKontrol, and an S61 mk2 keyboard. I greatly appreciate you finally getting to this issue. -Steve

    Problem seems to have been reintroduced on version 3.5.0. I have opened a ticket. The workaround of running KK as a separate process still works in Reaper, but I am back to square one. As I said in my post above, it's a resource heavy workaround as the resource footprint increases on the computer and also negatively impacts my workflow. Did someone forget to add the fix to the code repo 😥, when upping the version from 3.4.1 to 3.50?
    Anyone else seeing this problem again on 3.5.0 of komplete kontrol?

    Same here, very frustrating. 4 crashes in 10 minutes on Reaper 7 on WIN 11.

    Well, first report the bug was back is from June 25th. Before that we communicated when the bug was fixed in 3.4.1. end of March, when it was released. Bug is re-opened now.

    Thanks Jeremy. After my above post I thought I'd try some basic troubleshooting. Firstly, I reinstalled the latest KK version which of course is the latest "problematic" v 3.5.0 - via Native access. Rebooted computer and set KK in reaper back to the default of "automatic" which is to share KK vst resources with the DAW host. IOW to try and force the crash behaviour again.
    Although I didn't do any extensive testing, I couldn't force the crash in 2 different projects with various vst's loaded on 6 or so tracks inc 3 instances of KK, plus in a brand new Reaper project, with just KK loaded on a single track. When I first noticed the 3.5.0 crash issue, the crash would occur every time I changed window focus from KK to Reaper DAW.
    Can someone replicate this test please and post your findings? It maybe a potential soft-fix could just be a reinstall of KK at this point. I will test again later today.

    We confirmed the comeback of this bug internally, re-opened the bug and it should be fixed soon.

    Similar REAPER freezes with KK v3.5.0 as reported in the start of this thread November 2023.
