Any ideas ?
I had the same problem here with failed downloads and installations. I originally bought a Samsung micro-SD card with a holder and had nothing but problems. I replaced it with the same make but a full size SD card and haven't had a problem since. This is the card I'm using - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09X7DZM1V
Unfortunately there's not a faster way to download things. I was hoping that I could transfer all the libraries from my main computer to the SD card but it seems it's not possible. I just left it out of the way installing things until everything had downloaded. I didn't find any difference in download speed when I used wired Internet rather than WiFi so it seems Maschine+ is the limiting factor.
One thing I did do once I'd downloaded everything was backed up the SD drive, being sure to include the hidden files. That way if the drive goes dead I can replace it without doing huge numbers of downloads.
I would definitely suggest using a wired connection rather than the wireless one, especially if you're doing mass installation. Same applies when using Native Access - people complain when downloads fail but rarely mention if they're using wi-fi, or how good it is.
You can't use any plugins designed for the desktop. Only what is supplied with the Plus.
thnks
I will test with SSD 256 on USB to make copy of SD
later will Transfer on USER library becouse i own Native Ulimate 14 and
??? You can't use any plugins designed for the desktop. Only what is supplied with the Plus. ??
Machine + supports vst and vst3 from NI or Arturia.
pibi
Yes it supports VST, but those are VSTs designed to work on the Plus, not Windows/Mac VSTs.
It's the same with Akai MPCs. The plugins are designed to work standalone, they're not the desktop plugins.
This is why people were upset when NI released plugins for the MPC, because it's not possible to just take an existing Windows/Mac plugin and use it on the Plus or an MPC.
AFAIK there's no standalone system available that can run desktop plugins, because they're Linux based.
I didn't see an overall difference with WiFi vs wired speed wise although I guess wired might be better if your WiFi is particularly bad or patchy?
Thnks for info about install.
1 where i can get more info about Vsts dedicated for M+ ??
2 SD cards - very complicated I finaly get 128GB and work.
3 Whole thing looks as pain in the ass for average musical artist
