Reaktor sampler isn't "seeing" my .wav files

I've been using the Reaktor 4 beatbox called Massive for many years. I Just upgraded my home studio to a mac mini 4 running OS 15.5. And then i also upgraded to Reaktor 6. I'm only interested in working with my own samples so, today, i spent a few hours trying, but completely failing, to replace the bundled samples with my own .wav files. Massive doesn't seem to recognize them no matter what i try. Another weird thing that's happening, is that even though i replace the original sample with my own on the sample loader, it remains on the track where it had been playing. Even weirder, i'll be dialing in the root of my own sample on a track but instead I'll dial up a sample that isn't even in the sample loader. It makes me wonder. Is Massive corrupted? Anyway, looking for a way together it to work, because it's the main reason i upgraded.

@Sunborn , do you know what is the problem with this Groovebox ensemble setup ?

The only thing that i can think right now is that, this ensemble is very old and it might not support 24bit files. So, check if your wavs are like that. Try to load a 16/44 file and see if it's working…

I will check the ensemble and do some tests in the evening

…and by the way, there are much better and much newer groove boxes in the Reaktor User Library… 😉

@Sunborn , tell me about some other, more modern jukeboxes. Right now i'm playing with wave files of two bird songs, each one is placed on 3 tracks and modulated differently.

a nice one i found recently, is the Nuvex-5 by Goremall

    https://www.native-instruments.com/en/reaktor-community/reaktor-user-library/entry/show/15247/

Also, a search for "groovebox" gives 24 ensembles to choose.

And don't forget, Reaktor Factory Library also has Aerobic, GoBox, L3, Limelite, Newscool, Rhythmaker and more!

Meanwhile i successfully loaded 2-3 of my own samples in Massive and works fine…. you are doing something wrong probably, but i can't tell what, from distance (perhaps you can make 1-2 screenshots?)

Remember, Massive has 6 samplers, not one! You need to select (click) one of them (lets say 'sampler 1') to load your sample, but, when you click on the next one (lets say 'sampler 2'), you can't see your sample anymore (since you are now on a different sampler), until you select again 'sampler 1'.

Also remember, you need save the ensemble in order to save your samples, or next time you open it you will see again the default ones. But, since Massive is an official ensemble, it is best to save it as new ensemble (i.e. 'Massive One', 'My Massive' or whatever name you like), otherwise you will loose the default samples. And of course, once you saved it, you should use your own Massive (which contains your own samples) and not the original one (which contains the default samples)!
