Instrument icons are not displaying
Hi all. Due to an unrelated issue, I had to reinstall windows, and thus Native Instruments and Kontakt 8.
Fortunately, I have my instrument libraries saved to a different drive, and was able to reconnect them. However, the icons for some of the instruments are displaying as folders.
The contents of the folders seem to be correct for those particular instruments, but the lack of the proper icon is deeply bothering me.
I tried deleting the %localappdata%/Kontakt 8 folder, but that didn't seem to fix the issue.
Any suggestions on how I can get the icons to display correctly?

Try the troubleshooter : Thumbnail Picture Icons are Missing in the Kontakt Browser (which also includes e.g. Locate the file named pal.db and move it to the trash)
Also always use latest version of Native Access for your OS

This seemed to fix most of them, but there were a few stubborn ones that insist on using the folder icons :/
However, I reinstalled Native Access, restarted my computer, and followed the troubleshooter instructions once again, and the icons all seem to be displaying correctly.

for Windows users :
To force update database of Kontakt 8:
close Kontakt 8,
delete the file komplete.db3 on this folder : c:\Users\[You]\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8
restart Kontakt 8 and wait wait wait… for refresh processing database.
for missing icons from custom librairis like 8dio for example, you need to add folder with same name of librairie to C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources\image and add a image with mandatory name is MST_artwork.png
