Hey everybody,

is there anybody who use Maschine+ with the Push Standalone Device? I can't set it up that the devices are sync. The Link implementation works not well.

I've got a Maschine+ and a Push 3, although I've not tried to sync them (yet).

    What exactly is "not well"?

OK maybe your Maschine+ is not up to date, as start/stop was added recently (it wasn't there originally).

Maschine is up to date. I think there is a problem with Link. This is not up to date. This problem exist since a few years. I’ve wrote the NI support. Maybe they have a solution. In my opinion they should update the Link implementation in Machine+
I was hoping that someone have find a solution. When u use the midi connection. It’s not really sync. The bpm is moving a lot

The bpm is moving a lot

Which is a good thing, isn’t it? Otherwise, it would mean that Maschine doesn’t follow the clock closely and diverge from the actual tempo for longer periods of time requiring larger corrections.

Link Start/Stop should have been fixed with 1.6.1 IIRC. What versions of OS, Maschine software and firmware is your M+ on?

Edit: Link Start/Stop was fixed with Maschine 3.0.0. Therefore it’s still broken on Maschine+ (running Maschine 2.18.5) in standalone mode.

You could always try manual syncing. Do the devices stay in sync if you set the same BPM value to both machines?

Also a good idea to try MIDI clock syncing both ways. Sometimes one machine as clock master and another as slave works better than vise versa.

Also regarding Maschine+ MIDI sync, make sure you update your M+ firmware using the computer application. IIRC MIDI syncing used to be a bit flaky before that firmware update was released..

The updated Link SDK was planned for this update, but I think they postponed it and it will come with the next major Maschine 3 update on the M+. I was waiting for it too. Without the current Link SDK, Maschine+ is useless for me at the moment.
