CUP mode on X1 mk3

Is it possible to enable CUP mode on X1 mk3 without mapping. Straight out of the box. Or can it be configured only by mapping. And if so, what is the most correct way to do it?

    Mapping is required since there are no native controls for the CUP button.

    Add In → Deck Common → CUP (Cue Play)

    Then check the following setting to determine when the action happens.

    Preferences → Transport → CUP Mode (instantly when the button is pressed down or after the release of the button)
