recovering itunes playlists

I had all my MP3s organized using itunes. I recently updated itunes and no longer have access to my playlists. Apple says they're available through Apple Music, however I still can't access my playlists after downloading Apple Music, although all my music are MP3s. Is Traktor working on a fix? I looked into Rekordbox and apparently you can still access your Apple Music through their player. Why can't Traktor even though all my music is MP3s?

As you did the upgrade from iTunes just now, which version of Traktor Pro are you using? As Apple Music app changed the format of library files old versions of Traktor cannot deal with these libraries. Not sure which versions of Traktor started supporting Apple Music app though. Not even sure if it was same time for Mac and Windows versions as Apple Music app is a thing on Macs for years (since macOS 10.14 or 10.15) and on Windows Apple replaced iTunes much later. Was just last year if I remember correctly.

If your Apple Music library isn't saved in standard paths you may have to adjust settings in Traktor settings → File Management.

For me Traktor Pro 4.2.0 on macOS Sequoia 15.5 reads alls my playlists from Apple Music app just fine. Have no Windows machine to cross check.

I got a Dell laptop with windows 11 and I'm using Traktor Scratch Pro v2.11.3 17. And Native Access isn't working.

Traktor Scratch Pro 2 isn‘t compatible with the new Apple Music app library format. Apple Music app is newer as the latest version of TSP2. You need at least Traktor Pro 3 and I expect one of the later versions of TP3.
