Transport buttons will not function/map with Logic Pro X

I've recently had to reinstall my NI library including Komplete Kontrol. All libraries and VSTs are working great, and the standalone Komplete Kontrol application communicates fine with my Komplete S49 Mk2. All Firmware/Software is up to date. But now NONE of the transport functions work on the S49 when working on Logic Pro X. It is recognizing the device as I can play notes using the keys, and can change parameters within plugins using the MIDI knobs. That's it though, and it wont allow input from the buttons to be learned a command (last pic).
I have scoured the internet and previous posts, I haven't found a clear answer nor a recent post on the matter. If anyone has any insight it is greatly appreciated :D. I just want the hardware to communicate the way it is supposed to instead of using my computer keyboard!

Hello,
have you tried to delete it and add it back again like described here:
in your picture the hostname is wrong, it says "localhost" but should be "ni-bin-…….."

@dlloyd112 Do Komplete Kontrol and Logic both have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS This is important for these functions.
Also, since you are on Sequoia, there are a few extra steps:
In case that still doesn't work you would need to delete Logic's file responsible for control surfaces. Simply close Logic and delete this file:
Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs
Note: the User Library folder is hidden. To access it, click on Go in the menu bar and press down the Alt
key. You'll now find the Library entry in the menu:
