I've been waiting to upgrade to K15. But now I'm wondering if I should just wait for K16

Komplete has now been on a two year release cadence for about the last decade now

Like anything, depends if it's worth your money. If it's not then wait, the way the updates are priced nowadays means you can go several versions back yet the latest update will cost the same.

So nothing changed - as usual NI vouchers are in fact just extra discounts with extra conditions that are usually so strict, that almost nobody can use it (or must spend a lot of money if want to save few euros). I remember when I received "voucher" for $25, but I cannot spend it, because it was on Summer of Sound, almost every interesting product was on sale and voucher cannot be used on discounted products. I have nice idea for Native Instruments - voucher for $500, no minimum spend, the only requirement - you must have three hands and at least 40 teeths.
Seriously - I would consider buying upgrade for Komplete, even just for upgrade Kontakt, if this software was optimized - loads fast, fully resizable (in every mode) etc. But no - Kontakt 7 is slow and Kontakt 8 is the same slow. I feel like NI programmers just don't know how to write proper code. Even Native Access yesterday "updates" my Kontakt 8 (Player) and Komplete Kontrol, but in fact nothing happens, no new vst3 files on my drive (and no - they were not installed somewhere else - I checked). I must take downloaded installers and install them manually.

While I agree that the $25 vouchers are pretty useless then minimum spending for discount vouchers IMO is quite common place and while %10 of an amount of e.g. EUR 300 is maybe not a high amount then as far as I can tell then that would be valid for already discounted items also which N.I. vouchers generally are not. So a little extra off ought also be welcome I think. The thing about the extra percentage discount vouchers though is that they rarely refer to percentage of the original amount pre-sale price but usually refer to percentage off the already discounted price so people should keep that in mind.

I agree that "minimum spend" is pretty common, which doesn't make it okay and fair. I agree that "vouchers for nothing" (like some vouchers that everyone gets by email - more like promo discount than actual voucher) can have "minimum spend", but if you get voucher for buying stuff from NI, it supposed to have no conditions. After all it's not that you'll get anything for free - you already pay for products (and it's not cheap), so this supposed to be way of NI thank you for your purchase, not another method to extract extra money from the user.
