Strummed Acoustic - Sequnecer Forces Sound Preset

Hello. I am using Strummed Acoustic with a DAW sequencer (Reaper). Every time I start playback, Strummed Acoustic switches to a particular Sound Preset (labelled "custom"). If I select another Sound Preset from the Strummed Acoustic interface, and then begin playback, the Sound Preset switches back to the "custom" Sound Preset.

How do I stop this behavior? How do I tell Strummed Acoustic which Sound Preset to use when being controlled by a DAW sequencer?

Thanks

Is Reaper sending some midi notes to Strummed Acoustic?

Those Session series instruments have many keys assigned to keyswitches and what else (you can see them in the keyboard colored differently). If one of those notes get sent to Strummed Acoustic, the action to change something (like e.g. Sound Preset) could be triggered

    Hello,

do you mean one of the 4 (melody instruments) or 8 phrases, as @LostInFoundation already said you have to look at the piano roll, then you'll see what note triggers do what e.g. play styles C1 to D#1 (melody instruments), phrases from E1 to G1, the non melody instruments have phrases from C1 to G1..

I think the OP might be getting at this:

Where (1) - each "song" (pattern/chord set) within Strummed Acoustic - has a specific Sound Preset bonded to it.

I believe if you unclick "Link to Song" - you can change the preset to whatever you want

And I do not believe any Sound Presets are controlled by any keyswitches.

This option is global to the playback of whatever chord/pattern set you decide to load.
