Why doesn’t Maschine+ show the project which is open on my laptop in the display windows?
hi,
I am trying to run my Maschine+ on a laptop with the latest software. The stand alone mode works but when I switch to controller mode I only see the lit up pads plus the menu bar and two dark display windows with the logo and the „Production and Performance System“.
What did I forgot or what might be the problem? Usually I work on my PC and I had no problems so far with it. Thanks.

As stated in the manual, the power supply is not required when used as a controller.

Check in Windows Task Manager if NIHardwareAgent is running (point 4 of this support article). And…while you are there, check also the other points ☺️

thanks, I’ll try that later.

I did that, but still it wouldn’t change just with the usb connectivity.

Having the power supply connected makes no difference. I had mine plugged in & ready to be used in either mode for a couple years, and was able to seamlessly transition from working on a standalone project to working on a desktop project.
