Maschine Mikro Mk2 Midi Mode Problems

Hi.

I'm trying to use the Maschine Mikro Mk2 to control buttons ect in Rekordbox on a windows 10 laptop. It's working to some extent but not working well. I already had a X1 mk1 connected which is working great and wanted to add the MMMk2 to control the pad fx's plus cue points to start.

Problem 1, when i change the functions ect. in controller editor they work when the editor is open but if editor is closed the MMMk2 hardware forgets all the changes. (on the hardware screen goes from template 2, my saved one, back to template 1).

The manual suggests that templates are saved automatically to the hardware? when changes were made with the X1 in the editor they stay on the device, while with the MMMk2 the template needs to be reloaded each time the editor is shut or the laptop restarted ect.

Problem 2. When the leds ae changed in controller editor to midi in so that they reflect the state of the corresponding button in the software they do not light up at all. They are set the same as in the X1 which work well. and is the same if i try it with pads or buttons. The aim is to Dj while needed to look at the laptop as little as possible so this function is essiential.

Maschine2 is downloaded on the laptop, and i've ran updates for the MMMk2 plus re-downloaded controller editor.

    Hello,

    have you tried to start the controller editor as administrator, that helped if I had the same problem with forgotten midi templates. The light should work if you create a midi out, and you have as far as I understand, and send it out to the same note as the midi in. What is your exact setting for a midi out and the corresponding pad, as an example, you can make pictures and load them up here
