When I have recorded a pattern in prime bass and I want to change a pattern, it changes all the previous ones as well. I watched many you tube tutorials, didn't find the answer.

    Hello,

can you please give a bit more details, what do you have recorded, a phrase or do you use the melody instrument or a phrase with notes to pitch the phrase. What is your DAW, maybe tell us the preset you use and what notes or whatever you play, simply give an example we can replicate.

I hope I can give enough information. I work in Logic. The problem occurs when I drag and drop patterns in my track.

So I tried to fix it by working with a keyboard controller. But the same happens: The midi regions that I already recorded change into the last played pattern.

The problem occurred when prime bass was in pattern mode. So today, I tried prime bass in melody mode. It worked quite well for a while, but now the same thing happens: already recorded midi regions change in the last chosen pattern…

More information: I tried to make a verse with patterns from bank 20: funky offbeat. In the chorus I used bank 21: big thump. When I do that, everything changes in big thump.

you can mix patterns from two presets by changing/adding the single phrases. The melody instrument has 4 slots for phrases the other one has 8 slots. So lets say you want to have all phrases from "funky offset" and "big thump", you open the non melody instrument and you load "funky offset" as preset where you then have all 4 phrases loaded on c1 to d#1, now you have to load the phrases from "big thump" one by one on the e1 to g1 slots, you would have to load phrases 80 to 83. You can´t do it the way you tried it.

so it would look like this
