Send midi from kontakt to the outside world
For years I used to Send midi from kontakt to the outside world with libraries like Noire, guitar session, Hammers+waves piano and the result was very good . Today result are totally unusable with notes value different from the ones emit by the libraries (ex: if play a C major chord CEG in noire with some particle emission then the library midi print out is fill with a lots of sharp or flat note as before the midi print out was identical as the library )
I tried to look online to see if you mentioned any changes in the Send midi from kontakt to the outside world function but couldn't find anything .
Is this a bug that you're going to address or a new route that you decide to go for that function ?

Hello,
i tried a bit and can confirm the issue, i tried with noire, and i could see in the particle engine that it played just one note with different velocities but the notes that came out where all over the place. I will later try some other instruments maybe you have some other examples from the big komplete package i own the ce edition.

There are various settings here:
Some libraries generate additional MIDI notes, due to how the libraries work internally. Unfortunately it's not always possible to filter them out.

Hi ,
Thanks for your answer but as I mentioned libraries that was producing correct note before now produce incorrect notes . And we can argue that some librairies like session guitar could and were producing some extra notes (usually in the lower register link to some special behavior keys ) the results were really close nothing to compare with today outcome , and noire was producing really great results .I really think something have been modified in the way this function works .

Is this happening over a long range of different Kontakt versions ? or are you going to tell us your exact Kontakt version number ? (I am sorry but I have a really hard time not seeing your Kontakt version as being of any importance here why I also wonder why you didn't find it necessary to tell)

Did you update anything shortly before this started happening ? E.g. the Kontakt version ? and if you did then from what version number to what version number ?

Hi Poorfellow ,
I'm going to try to answer all of your question even if I think the way you're entering the conversation is a little bit aggressive and not very relevant to the question . I didn't use this function for few years and it's just happen recently that I tried to export generate notes from Kontakt again from Noire . So I cannot exactly be sure when something changed in the way Kontakt handle the export of generated notes but I'm sure that was working when Noire came out and I believe It was under Kontakt 6 and at the time I was using this function with guitar session product,Skybox Hammer+waves collection and Noire .So I'm assuming it probably happen sometime between Kontakt 6 and 8 .
I own Kontakt 5,6,7,8 ( I alway use the latest update version available ) and they now all behave in the same way . All the libraries that I previously mention are now producing weird extra notes . There is no reason for piano librairies like Noire or Skybox hammer+Waves to produce weird notes as they don't have any kind of articulations .
So maybe I should ask first did NI change the way Kontakt handle the export of script generated notes ?
In the hope that I answer your questions while I still waiting answer for mine .

Yes, the problem is that we are not privy to all the technical details of what changes inside the Kontakt program , only the developers knows. Also what people share here are their own experiences and what they have learned and some problems people either do not know enough about or can not help with in which case there is only support to ask. It is true though that some of those responsible for the programming of the apps pops in now and then and sometimes they pitch in when they have the time. But they are not in support and as a general rule then if you have a problem that the forum can not help with then you need to contact support , in this case N.I. Kontakt Support who you are also supposed to contact if you generally have problem with Kontakt where/if the forum is not of help.
