Hello, I cut 70 slices from a sample, and when I send them to a program (bank b, for example), I only have access to the 16 pads from the first bank of slices I created. Is there a way to access the other slices?
Ok i made some pictures so we can check if we talk about the same, first i chopped up a sample into 127 parts:
then i press apply or drag the cross (right from apply) on pad/sound 2 in the same group, while apply will apply the slices to pad/sound 1, and if i drag and drop it it will be transfered to pad/sound 2 but it looks the same:
first picture shows the pattern i just created for you to see it, on the last picture you see all the slices over the piano roll - so you can play them all in keyboard mode.
please translate your posts in english, and thx for the follow
Hello,
don't you have the slices spread out over the keyboard, so if you are in keyboard mode you can play up to 127 slices. You have to apply the edits/slices to a pad not to a group.
Thank you for your answer but I can't select all of my 127 slices in order to assign them to another bank (via the little "+" that I drag onto another bank) to create the program and be able to play it via a keyboard-type controller for example... When I do that, it only selects my first 16 slices and only applies these to me when I play in pad mode on the destination bank
You have to drag and drop it onto another pad not a group, then it will work with keyboard mode. You can drag and drop the sliced sample to a pad in the same group and them copy it to where you want it to be - but it has to be a pad within a group, not the group itself.
great the soundcloud I just subscribed!
As for my worries, it doesn't work..
Since my cut-out pad is recognized as "1 pad only", when I stick it on a pad from another bank and go into Keyborard mode, it plays the pad in question at a different pitch depending on the notes I play.
Merci beaucoup ! Ça fonctionne
Thanks a lot it's ok
