Maschine MK3 Line Inputs not recognizing any audio (2025 version)

Mac Sequoia / Machine 3.1

Maschine Preferences: audio device = Maschine.

Mic input gain = maximuim.

Swap out usb - yes

swap out audio cable - yes

tried with different audio sources - yes

Interestingly, no input is received even when I use my Apollo as Machine's audio device. The Apollo's inputs work properly. So does that suggest that I am experiencing a software issue?

What are your thoughts?

    Some very basic ones: (sorry if you already checked them all, but it’s not mentioned between the infos you gave)

    1. You say which audio device is selected, but not if the right inputs are also assigned to Maschine Ins
    2. Are the meters in Sampling page (at the bottom) showing anything or they are dead too?
    3. Is “Monitor” in the same page turned on?
    4. Are the right Ins selected also in that page (Maschine In 1 and 2 In could correspond to different inputs. It depends on what you assign to them in the Preferences)

    To add to @LostInFoundation's list, check that Maschine has access to the Microphone in the Privacy and Security section of the Mac System Settings.

    Thank you for the responses! YES the microphone permissions solved my problem! Thank you!

    And just for the record, before I granted mic access, I was getting zero signal via the meters in the sampling page.
