Good morning I purchased today on your store FLOWSTATE by Soniccouture. The download was successful and also the registration. However, the sample wav files indicated on the site are not present. How can I download them? Thank you carlo Mosca
You're right, the samples are there, in the Factory folder and in ncw format
Congratulations on purchasing an interesting Kontakt library.
Are you using latest version of Native Access for your OS ?
Else then also check tab available in Native Access to see if the Wav files should turn out to be an additional download.
Also then you can try a re-install.
What .wav files? Those below? 🧐
There are no .wav files in Flowstate.
What you see in the website, are just examples.
The purpose is to use your own .wav files.
Quote : This is the set of Audio that comes with Flowstate.
I am not convinced because a video (even an official one) says so, sorry mate. Maybe they were used on an earlier version? The date says 2 of August 2024:
So, i did some research. As far as i know, samples are in .ncw format and for a very good reason.
.ncw
Commercial Kontakt libraries, almost universally, use Native Instruments lossless compressed format, .ncw, for their sample content. This is done to significantly reduce the library's file size compared to uncompressed .wav files, while maintaining the original audio quality.
.wav
Also, search results for other Soniccouture Kontakt libraries (like Electro-Acoustic, Orchestral Chimes Collection, Celeste) explicitly mention using "NCW compression" for their core libraries. This indicates it's a standard format used by Soniccouture.
Thus it makes absolutely no sense that this masterpiece (as they say at least) to use .wav files. But, i could be wrong of course, so: @Kymeia i think you have this one, can you check the samples folder please?

You didn't specify .ncw in your initial answer and my response were meant as that Flowstate includes samples , which it says even at the picture that you posted yourself. (As far as I can see then I myself didn't even use the Wav word once in the above)
Frankly I have no idea if what N.I. would supply with something like this would be Wav or .ncw since I do not have the product. Immediately of course I would think it to be Wav if the video says so , but I am just claiming that the samples are included , then we can figure out the format later. I found out earlier today that apparently then a lot of N.I. sample library stuff comes as .nkx which is so called "Monolith" files of a Kontakt sample library. So there is that too.
But, the thread is about "missing wav files". So, if there are no wavs, samples has to be something else obviously since Kontakt is based on samples. Some things are self-evident, that's why we don't mention them. 😉 Anyway, we will find out soon.
Appear as that you are right as far as .NCW goes :
CC: @Fly , ther is no Wav , only NCW files..
Cool… its nice to be right when you do an "educated guess" without actually have no idea! 😀
