Utility to auto add Kontakt zones in varying order?

Is there a way to add sample files to empty Kontakt groups using a script or other utility to convert an array of text filenames to Kontakt Groups and Zones?
I need to add 9000 sample file/zones to 200 Kontakt Groups spread across multiple instruments for a multi-instrument guitar. It used to be possible to edit the old Battery 1 .kt2 file to quickly rename or add samples, but the Kontakt .nki file does not contain ASCII text for these fields.
This level of complexity is required for a realistic clean and resonant Gibson L-5 archtop guitar sound. Filtering and harmonic frequency EQing can only do so much. There is no realistic sample based solution other than to capture all of the articulations, pick/finger variations, slides, and so on. For example, the guitar has 4 or 5 locations where each note can be played on a different string. Each location must be sampled to capture the unique harmonic frequency spectrum of each location. The notes get grouped into the 17 fret positions along the neck, each represented by a Kontakt Group that can be selected while playing to emulate playing along the neck. Therefore each sample is reused in up to 5 different Kontakt Groups, but each of the 17 Groups contains a unique set of 45 sample zones. This requires 200 Kontakt Groups (17 fret positions times 12 articulations/pick variations) selectable via keyswitches and CC knobs.
