How to find STEM files associated to a track - Traktor Pro 4

Hi Guys,
i got another thing that's troubling me at the moment:

Since i got into Traktor Pro 4 i really like messing with STEMS.

However after creating about 14GB of STEMS, i cannot find the associated STEMS to a specific track since the STEMS get generic file names such as:
"A5T3ANDIU001FDAVOH3XBINLDB4C.stem.mp4".

For one file i could luckily remember its creation date, so i found it.
But i get lost in all the other files since there is no find them.
Is there any way to identify an assiciated STEM to a track?

Best regards

Claas

Just now I was going to make the same inquiry.

When you generate the Stems, the associate file are loaded into the track collection when you restart Traktor with a number name.

That's an issue because you can not easily know the stem name as @Claashollwegs has comment.

In my case I write, in the original track, in comment 2: "stem" and then using a smart list you have all stems agrupate.

    Stems regards

Also wondering about this, especially when wanting to migrate the stemmed tracks between my powerful pc and less powerful laptop, Having them just take the pre-calculated stems from my pc would be preferential over having my weak laptop sit churning for hours on the tracks my pc already finished days ago.

Do you have your tracks on an external drive? If so, which seems likely to me as you indicate you are using both machines for Traktor, then you can designate a folder on your external drive as you stem-track location in Preferences of both Traktor instances.

You can record each stem separately, using the mix recorder , then find the file in finder, and drag into your daw

If you copy all the Traktor and music folders, the stems prevail. My growing issue is that every time Traktor doesn't exit properly (like half the time), created stems gets forgotten and takes up more and more space, to be copied between the desktop and the gig laptop. ChatGPT has lent me a hand trying to figure out how the AUDIO_ID in collection.nml corresponds to the stem file name so we can write a clean up script. It believes the AUDIO_ID is encoded with base64, but still cant find a link. ChatGPT also believes the reference is stored somewhere else

Recreating thousands of stems takes hours of right clicking on every track (well plus days of processing). While Traktor Pro 4 is a great step foreward, common now NI, it's time to add that stem generation option to the right click menu. This must be easy to implement. We would also like a few added lines of code to stem separate more than two(?) tracks at once for way more speed. Currently stem generation uses 2, maybe 3 or so cores and makes the playback stutter, with 30% or so total CPU utilization. Maybe a setting under "Multi-core Processing" of how many threads to create for parallell track analysis, stems and so on. If that's to much, you could comfortably assume most people have at least 8 cores, as creating a few more threads than there are physical cores makes no pratical diffirence as there will be logical cores to carry them
