Maschine does not save slices

How can i save a maschine project that contains slices. I did save project with samples etc. but it does not help. Abter reopening the project my slices are visually gone. I can access them via Keyboard but i cannot edit them

  When chopping samples. When you hit apply. Make sure you select a new group first then apply.They will go into pad mode and not keyboard mode
