Onboard tempo for Kontrol S Mk3

When using Komplete Kontrol on computer the tempo is in the top right next to the output meters. When using the Kontrol S 61 Mk3 as a standalone MIDI controller (particularly now that Arp functionality from KK is onboard) how does one set onboard tempo and have it sent on MIDI to controlled hardware?

Hi I can confirm that unfortunately the new firmware version 1.9.4 does not have the ability to send or receive MIDI clock messages, so currently you'd have to manually set the tempo on the external HW device(s) to the same value as you used on the keyboard.

However it does have the ability to sync the tempo with the following:
Maschine 3.1, Komplete Kontrol 3.4.1, and the upcoming Kontakt 8.3.

We do hope to add improvements in this area in future device updates

You hold down the shift button and you'll see the tempo button light up, you just press it and then you can change tempo via the on-screen prompt using the jog wheel on the right.

Yes, I see that and thank you so much. My challenge now is those tempo changes are not being transported to MIDI controlled devices. Does that information strictly go out the MIDI DIN ports or USB as well?

Also, turning the jog wheel will do single-digit changes, holding down shift while turning the jog wheel will do .01 increments/decrements.

I couldn't see any tempo messages in MIDI-OX while playing with the Arp and tempo, so I guess this is an internal tempo for the Arp etc. Happy to be proved wrong though!

Hi @Matthew_NI is it possible to change the tempo in Logic Pro using the SHIFT+TEMPO and jogwheel? Because I've been trying it for a while now and I am not able to change the tempo in Logic. Yes it does work in KK, Maschine and Kontakt 8. How can I make my workflow easer in a DAW like Logic Pro?
