Dragging midi from Maschine into Logic Pro

Hi all

I've dragged some midi into Logic and then silenced the Maschine pattern, but there's no sound when I play back. Ive routed all the sounds in Maschine to individual tracks in the Logic mixer. I can see and hear all the sounds in the Logic mixer, then when I export the midi and silence the Maschine clip, there's no sound?

I've dragged the midi onto one track, sounds as midi notes and not onto separate channels.

Can anyone help?

    Thanks for that, got it working, I followed a video, in the video the guy set all the sound, output, audio destinations to individual channels, then he said the sound, output, midi channels would automatically be numbered 1-16, ive noticed after my set up all the sound output midi channels revert to channel 1, is this right?

    logic is a pain

    Can you trigger maschine from logic , piano roll on that track

    There’s a few settings you need to make in maschine first , right click on the group , and select sounds to midi notes , then I think you need to set the group midi input to drumkit mode , kick should be triggered by c2

    Then logic midi output has to set to maschine


    there’s some videos but they’re pretty old , I gave up integrating the two , and haven’t tried for a long while , so all this is from memory, occasionally I check the logic updates to see if there’s been any improvements, logic just added a virtual midi port , but it doesn’t show up in the maschine plugin only standalone.

    FYI - they have just updated Maschine 3, so I can open plugins now!

    I forgot to ask, do you know if Maschine has a gain plugin?

    setting to audio channel should not effect the midi channel setting
