Recording a song problem with audio quality and volume.

I'm doing an edit of a track in Tracktor 4.0 and I'm recording it with the changes for example a longer loop for the intro and longer loop for outro. So far so good my problem is when I play the recorded WAV file and play it Tracktor compared to the orginal file quality and volume are low they don't look the same what happened here ?

How can I edit record this song without losing volume and quality the color bar from the recorded wav (RIGHT) are thin compared to the orginal wave width (LEFT)

.

    Hello,

the recorder has a gain knob try to increase gain, maybe also use auto gain on the decks can help. I tried and on my computer with tp4 i have no problem like this. Ohh and i guess you record setting is internal.

Yes, external is for recording from a mixer if you mix externally - but your setting is then correct in your case, have you tried to set the gain. On the top right you click on the tape sign, then the recorder opens up (I guess you already know) and there you have the gain knob.

Traktor 4 has the iZotope Ozone Maximizer too. Can the record signal be sent through it?

Check if it's enabled and how it's set. That'll give you a nice loud recording.
