Flowstate - resynthesis in Kontakt?

First you drag and drop any audio file into Flowstate.
Then, Flowstate analyzes the audio and breaking it down into its constituent components. This involves analyzing the frequencies present in the audio and how they change over time.
Then it comes the Resynthesis engine: It uses the analysis data to recreate the audio using a different set of parameters. This allows for manipulation of the sound in ways that wouldn't be possible with traditional sample playback.
Then comes the Harmonic Morphing: Flowstate allows you to define 5 different harmonic states. These states represent different ways of recreating the original audio. It is like as different filters or effects are applied to the resynthesized sound.
Finally we have the Flow Dial and State Runes: These controls allow you to morph between the different harmonic states and create dynamic and evolving textures from the original audio.
Note: The above are assumed from various parts of the manual and videos but they should be pretty accurate.
To make it simple, as i understand it:
It is like taking a photograph and then having a program that can not only show you the picture but also understand the shapes, colors, and textures in it. Flowstate is like that program, but for audio. It understands the ingredients of your sound and then lets you remix them in new and interesting ways.
A very promising instrument indeed. It is in my "soon to be bought" list!

Thanks I guess I wasn’t being clear, I know how resynthesis works but how is this possible in Kontakt given the fact that it does not ship with a resynthesis engine (and this is compatible with Kontakt 7 so not even using the latest features). I presume this is using some hidden away features? Probably also some heavy scripting? But surely Kontakt’s can’t compare to doing this in something like Reaktor?

I assume that this has nothing to do with Kontakt but with the instrument itself.
Kontakt is basically a platform, with its own tools of course but beyond that, there is a powerful scripting engine.
As you correctly assumed, most probably, Kontakt is just using a fairly small part of this engine, but in fact, its possibilities should be endless! At least theoretically.
