    Black Messiah… what an album…

Now my envy doubles: for your working place…and for opening for Black Thought (I just had the honor to spend half an hour of my birthday in the backstage with him, Questlove and Hub once).

Can I ask the name of your band?

We shipped a basic integration last year.

    Have you used that?

We're unlikely to go much further than we already have, as it was the combination of a high maintenance burden with very few users actually using it that led to the original deep integration being deprioritized.

They no longer exist. This was more years ago than I'd care to admit.

    Something to listen to?

I asked because if you opened for Black Thought (and put links for Really Love), probably your music is in my ballpark

seriously, so no browser integration , group navigation, plugin navigation from the 4d encoder , that seems like low hanging fruit that would greatly improve the very basic integration that was added .

It’s a bit of a let down tbh

I think the data on how people used the mk2 and maschine integration has to be flawed , it seemed fairly popular.

I get that not all the features were heavily used or even necessary , like arrangement/ideas view.

I don’t think there should be a second + , whilst I supported a standalone maschine , and owned one , I think it’s been a disaster for Maschine overall , and more than likely took away development time from improving the software.

If you want a standalone maschine buy a Mac mini and super glue it to a mk3

Even low-hanging fruit is out of reach when there aren't enough hands and/or isn't enough time to pick it.

This has been discussed a lot.

I can only re-iterate why the decision was made. Something can seem fairly popular to a specific audience. Our usage data has a 95% opt in rate, and gives a clear picture about what is/isn't used. It was a costly feature, used by a small number of users, and became too expensive to maintain, at the expense of features a much larger number of users used. That doesn't make it any more palatable to people who miss the feature, but it's the simple truth. We've since implemented a streamlined integration that's easier to maintain, and that covers most of the main functions people were after.

I'd suggest we move on - to avoid re-hashing the discussion over again.

Oh, i didn't missed anything! Especially from the 90's.

I just dislike "all in one" salads.

…and as i wrote (because you have that tendency, to choose parts of a comment, instead of the entire comment), i like a lot real instruments and i use them a lot in my music (either twisted through FX, with my psy-trance alias, either original, with my chill/ethnic/electro-folk alter ego), but i like to see them as Kontakt libraries or as another instrument, not as part of a rhythm machine.

…in case you ask why, i already explained it above…. i dislike "all in one" "super-market" solutions! 😋

For me, in addition to the most popular requests for the Plus, I'd just want to see that those of us using the Plus get at least everything NI has to offer on the MPC, which has better specs than the MPCs.

Agree. To be harsh, they seem to have ****** up badly with the Maschine+ - painful to see. Question is what the estimated life cycle for the Machine+ will be. Yes, the risk is pretty high that NI will kill it and go back to only a tethered computer option with the MK4.

I run my Maschine MK3 on a Macbook Air for fun, not my main production rig.

My main groove controller is my Push 3. Would love to see some NI products on Ableton Live standalone next like some Play series adapted for Live standalone (at a discounted price if you already own the product for Kontakt on Mac, and of course not having to use conversion software would be nice for NI expansion groove sample kits. This however should be free)

Great news regarding the Q1 updates, speaking from the blind & visually impaired community, the addition of the long overdue accessibility for Kontrol S MK3 is appreciated and very welcome news :)

Never said you don’t like real instruments.

    And I didn’t “chose parts”.

I just answered what surprised me on your post, that is “can't see what is the purpose of "real" instruments, violins etc” in a beatmaker product.

Since I think they have big purpose.

And I frankly struggle to understand your comments, since you say you like to use instruments (so why not having them in M+?) and you continue saying “Kontakt instruments” like if, once put in M+, they would not be “Kontakt instruments” anymore.

What I asked was just to have a little more instruments for the people using M+ standalone (so that they can use them as you use them on desktop).

Some people simply do their music in Maschine software and M+, just like you do yours using your DAW loading “Kontakt instruments”.
Your computer could be seen like "all in one" "super-market" solution by people using many different physical instruments, playing them live in collaboration with other musicians with other instruments.
In the end is just a very powerful “beatmaker, drum machine, sequencer & sampler”

    But…we are getting off topic
