Well, more features are great and i'm all for it, but fixing what is broken, not properly functioning or completely missing (where there was once) features is IMHO more important and as serious an expectation (hope it wasn't implied what I am saying is not as serious as the requests you have) and just as you are likely sick of me repeating it, I am also just as sick of having to repeat it while I wait years for some kind of action.

Sure, we could all sit by and dangle our units in the air in silence, waiting patiently, just look at what that has managed to get us to in the last 10 years, kind of further back than it was 2 years ago.

Chris who leads that teams said that Maschine 2's latest update is about to hit Beta. I assume that then pressure will be on to please Maschine+ users who are currently equally, if not more, annoyed/disgruntled after the Akai/NKS news than the Kontrol MK3 owners.

So I wouln't hold my breath for something to be released in the next week, given that under resourcing mean it's the same team that works on Maschine & Komplete Kontrol.
But surely a roadmap and some communication from @Chris_NI is well overdue at this stage regarding KK…
    Or should we tag @Ghost_NI ? 🙈

So can we get a proper list which of the NI reps are here to help us and who are over what departments ? It sounds like we're losing Matt_NI to the Kontakt team. Now we have Chris_NI and is he over Komplete Kontrol or Maschine or both ? What team is Jeremy_NI on ?

I also saw posts on the NKS2 maps by @crisNI but I'm not sure if that's someone working for NI

    Jeremy is Customer Support

Chris is Product for Kontrol and Maschine

I am Product for Kontakt (formerly on Kontrol and Maschine)

I guess we just got our answer on the Komplete Kontrol roadmap.

I loaded my most misrable unfinished song to celebrate.

    Edit: Closed it. No energy.

2025 Outlook: Maschine, Kontrol, and NKS Hardware Partnerships — Community

Maschine +, Kontrol, but no Komplete Kontrol.

I won't make a snap decision, but poor communication means NI might have just lost me.

It's almost as if nobody said before posting, "What will each product community think of this update, and how do we message to reassure users that each product line is important?"

Oooh. Why did they do that?
You're not being a killjoy at all. Simply highlighting a blatant omission on that roadmap, which shows how little thought seems to be put on the development of the Komplete Kontrol interface.

I welcome the other updates nonetheless, but customers are taking the hit of understaffed teams split between Maschine & Kontrol MK3 (& Komplete Kontrol), so it's a lose lose situation.
Give yourselves the means to be on top of your game NI and hire dedicated teams for Maschine + dedicated teams for Kontrol & KK!

It is an omission, but let’s not forget, and that includes NI, that what this partnership is ultimately based on is NKS as a common standard, and it is this community that helps keep that alive.

Rather them just sell there stake in NI and just focus on NKS and let dedicate developers work on komplete kontrol software.. as a paying customer please roll out your new Shiney controller it will definitely flop.. please akai stay away from this sinking ship..

Honestly at this point, I'd be happier if inMusic just made them an offer, and we got inMusic as the new owners maybe inMusic is planning a takeover somehow in the future ?

At least inMusic has the manpower needed to release more complex software designs, like the Mpc and Force.

NI has shown us, they're only really able to release Kontakt / Maschine libraries and they do very little maintenance on their existing software products. I personally think they lost the great dev's a few years ago, and this isn't the first time, this happened back with Kore 2 as well.

NI's management has been a nightmare for along time, they do good for awhile, then boom it happens again. They have sucked pretty bad for the past 10 years now.
