Valid Factory outlet?
Hi Maschiner's
I've come across a listing in 'Reverb' for a Maschine MK3 at a good price for a Used B-Stock unit. The location is listed as Native Instruments US Direct Fremont, CA, United States
https://reverb.com/shop/nativeinstrumentsus/about
but I can find no information anywhere as to the location locally, nor on the NI corporate website. The listing purports to allow local pickup but in contacting 'them' , the response is Shipping only.
Anyone have experience with this type of issue? Is this a real Native Instruments factory outlet?
Thx in advance

This appear to be completely OK and legit : Ref. : Native Instruments Customer Case Study , (Also as PDF here)
Quote : ALOM expertly handles Native Instruments’ freight, inventory, and e-commerce fulfillment supply chain components for North America, South America, and Central America.
There is a whole page to read but to put it shortly then ALOM is among other used as fulfillment center by N.I. and ALOM HEADQUARTERS are in : 48105 Warm Springs Blvd. Fremont, CA 94539, USA

I'm not 100% but I think it's a "certified refurbished" seller or NI would shut down those claims real fast with a cease and desist letter.
However, it's shop doesn't even have any items listed.
Search here points to a mix of 50/50 good and not-so-good experiences:

Thanks D-One
I'd agree that the feedbcak on NI is sometimes not great, but it's mostly for support-related issues. Also, second-hand purchases can be clunky with the license transfer for ownership but I'm hoping (after reading 1 years worth of ratings on Reverb) that the experience will be positive, especially from a NI Factory Outlet.
My first NI purchase so, fingers crossed!
Much appreciated,Andrew

It looks kinda genuine with good reviews. A few things raise warning bells here like "I will ship …" (sounds like a one-man operation), spelling mistakes etc. Might just be lack of attention to detail of course!

I will ship with tracking to the listed regions.
Probably some site dependent multiple 'choice' selected on a from by those that put items for sale on the reverb.com more than actually written.

So far experience is positive. Order yesterday, arriving today UPS.

It's the default setting like a lot of that profile's content, unlike the NI GmbH outlet that's customised throughout.

Don't have it to hand - try google "native instruments gmbh reverb"

"native instruments gmbh reverb"

There appear to be a mixup here , what you are referring to apparently is the European outlet (Voerde (Niederrhein), Germany) where as the other is about the North American outlet (Fremont, CA, United States)
Please see my quote above : Quote : ALOM expertly handles Native Instruments’ freight, inventory, and e-commerce fulfillment supply chain components for North America, South America, and Central America.
So it stands to reason that we are dealing with two entirely different "e-commerce fulfillment supply chain" entities. And while I appreciate your comment "It's the default setting like a lot of that profile's content, unlike the NI GmbH outlet that's customised throughout." then that does not necessarily suggest anything other than a different attitude towards listing at the two fulfillment companies.

There's no mixup, I'm just saying the tone of the about boxes are different and when you're a corporate identity you tend to not do that. There's nothing on the US one that references ALOM, that's an assumption which may or may not be correct.

Absolutely right and what I wrote were : "This appear to be completely OK and legit ".
And I am also aware that "appearances can be deceiving" , why I chose the word appear.
Never the less then it appear as if the Native Instruments US Direct is a valid factory outlet fulfilled by ALOM and it also looks to me as just as legit as the "native instruments gmbh reverb".

Last update from me on this item; I ordered yesterday and received the unit today (B-Stock, but like brand new!) and am up and running.
It was a great choice! Looking forward to making some music 😎
Thx
