Sending midi from kontakt 8 to the outside world

I'd like to send midi from the chord tool to another track in Ableton Live. This is possible when you choose 'script generated notes' in options/engine/send midi to outside world. But the problem is that no note off is transmitted! Therefore if you play a few different chords in a row, all generated notes are stacked on top of each other and last forever. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just not possible to play an instrument on another track with the Kontakt 8 chord tool?

    Appear to me as that problem is related to this Kontakt 8 - Chords Tool midi out Quote : "The chords tool from new Kontakt 8 is sending out midi data, but not ending of a note, so is sending note data till the plugin is turned off. I guess it is a bug."

    @Matthew_NI , Could you please let us know how to send the Chords from Kontakt 8 to outside world so that it works (including the s/ending of a note off ?) ? I tried it also in Ableton Live 12.1.5 by setting Kontakt 8 to send 'script generated notes' in options/engine/send midi to outside world and there appear to be no note off sent ? Are we doing something wrong or is this a bug ?

    You need to go to Kontakt's options and make sure "Script generated notes" is checked.

    Your answer is quire useless unless you tell us how to get the note off…
