Kontakt 8 - Chords Tool midi out

Hi,

The chords tool from new Kontakt 8 is sending out midi data, but not ending of a note, so is sending note data till the plugin is turned off. I guess it is a bug.

    8.0.1 theorically fixed it, but not. Still no midi off data.

    What DAW? Mac or Windows?

    Same here on the latest Ableton Live Standard v12 (12.0.25) and beta v12.1 (12.1b14)

    On the v12 it was actually working but not sure in what version, next launch it auto updated and stopped working.

    A bit surprised there's no more comments here since we both have this issue.

    I'm using Windows 11 23H2.

    I've tested on Reaper and Bitwig (both latest stable updates). I'd be able to test on FL and Ableton btw.

    Yes, I think the ability to get Kontakt script midi out is a feature not very known for a beginner in middle user :)

    Not being able to capture the MIDI makes this unusable for me :S

    Interesting, I tried in Cubase and note-off works but some octaves oddly don't capture the chords but instead the original note…

    That's even more strange…

    I can use it since in Bitwig there are ways to generate fake note off, but it shouldn't work as it's working right now ...

    Same problem on both W10 and Mac Sonoma. Chord Tool won't send "note off".
