Maschine 3 VST not recalling Window size

This used to be an issues with V2 and now seems to be an issue with V3 again. Maschine opens small so that a lot of the sounds and grad are cut off. Expand it with the lower right corner, but next time it opens fresh it's small again. I tried saving a default with it bigger, tried setting default configuration in Ableton, always opens small. is there a trick? They owuldn't do this again would they?

I'm on mac with Ableton 12.

Wouldn't be so bad if you could maximise the window to full screen like you could in Maschine 2.

3.1 is out and still every time I open the plugin it is small and cuts off half the sequencer and I need to adjust the size again.

WHY DOESN'T IT RECALL THE SIZE I'VE SET IT AT????

I've attempted to "Set as Default Cnofiguration" in Ableton Live on the plugin. Nope. I've attempted to also save as a default kit but the size always opens small.

interesting… i just tested the issue you are describing…

using standalone… doing fullscreen in 1080p it shows the 16 sound slots

in Reaper the DAW i use… i can make a default template where the 16 slots are shown upon loading the maschine VST3i

is your scaling & resolution set to 1080p?

Im at 1080 scaling and it does start rather small, this kind of thing depends on resolution. Changing my settings just for one SW is an not acceptable fix. It's indeed odd that the standalone Maschine app remembers the last size used but the plugin does not.

If you fancy a workaround trick while you wait for NI to fix it:

Load Maschine, set the size, drag the "device" to your Ableton User Lib. This will save a patch that will recall whatever size you picked.

If this messes with your muscle memory of going into Plugins to load stuff then use the Favorites system:

You can go a step further and make it a read-only template to work faster.
