Traktor Pro 4 compatibility list

Good day all,

I own various controllers, Technique turntables, and the Rane 12's. Lately I have been enjoying my Traktor S8. I'm a DJ that likes to utilize numerous platforms. I really like Traktor more than the rest. I noticed that Traktor is not like the other platforms, or at least I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. Rekordbox, Serato, and even Engine Prime have a list of compatible equipment (mainly I'm interested in the controllers on the list) that works with their platforms. So my question is does a list exist for Traktor or only Traktor controllers are able to connect with Traktor Pro 1,2,3, and/or 4?

That's because almost anything works in Traktor Pro. Here's an official list:

https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209557129-Third-Party-Traktor-Ready-Controllers-with-Enhanced-Traktor-Integration (if those are mk2 Rane Twelves they will support Traktor. And you can always use your turntables with your S8, just get hold of the Traktor timecode vinyl)

but many, many, many more will work just fine with Traktor. For example, any standard USB MIDI keyboard should control Traktor. You might be lacking support for advanced features like screens or motors, so do check beforehand.

I recommend just searching for "device name" traktor mapping, to find how people have done it before you. You may find some have official mappings too.

I thank you for answering my question and giving me very good information. I did read the list that you included and the only thing on it that I do own is the Rane mkll Twelves. you did speak about USB MIDI keyboard, screens, or motors. I'm not really sure what that means but I guess I have some research in front of me to find out.

I did in fact go into my settings in Traktor and it did see my Rane 4, and I changed it to that but to no avail its not doing anything. I guess the software seeing my unit is a start. I'm not really into mapping anything because I'm usually comfortable with the default settings already there. Once again I do thank you for your information. If you should come across anymore information please feel free to share with me.

Rane Twelve mk2 have a mapping available on the link above. Unfortunately I can't find anyone that's shared a mapping for the Rane Four. There are guides on how to map online, it's just a bit tedious when you've got a lot of buttons!

i'm wondering if the new Lenova thinkpad gen 6 rollable would give enhanced space for track searching .Yes i know i can hit the space bar for extra view in traktor pro 4, but i kind of like the idea of my screen getting bigger(-especially when i play a good track lol..)
