Drag sound to midi track and manipulate

Hi, I am new to Kontrol and Kontakt. There is a melody (sound) in Deft Lines I wanted to drag to a midi track or any tack I can manipulate the melody. I have attached a picture of a square that you can drag to a midi track and manipulate the melody, but it looks like Deft Lines does not have this option. Is there a way to do this with Deft Lines? Am I making sense?
I have a MacBook Pro, Monterrey, Cubase Pro 12. Please let mew know if you need any other information. Thank you, Andy

    Hey there, Kontakt 8 new phrase tools work for all Kontakt libraries (with no patterns) and usually the phrase or chord tool is placed before the actual library.

    For Deft Lines the sequence is coming from the inside of the library and does not have a drag & drop feeature:

    Nope, as I said the library itself does not have a drag & drop feature.
