Convert Kontakt 5 plugins to Kontakt 8 in Logic Pro

I've just purchased a new Mac Studio which won't let me run Kontakt 5 on it anymore. Only in Demo mode. Is there a way to make all Kontakt 5 channel strips automatically swap over to Kontakt 8. Or do I have go through a tedious process of copy and pasting all the setting from Kontakt 5 plugins and pasting them into the Kontakt 8 version of the plugin. Hope that makes sense

So if I’m right in thinking, all I have to do is uninstall kontakt 5 and probably 6 and kontakt 7 or 8 will take its place.

Exactly that. Well, only deleting the plugin from your plugin folders shouls be enough. Fore reference on Mac it's here:

Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components

Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST

Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST3

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plug-Ins
