Is the ‘Enable “New Instruments for you” panel’ box still unchecked in the Kontakt 8 preferences?

Hello everyone,

In the preferences of Kontakt 7 there is an option to completely deactivate the ads for the sound banks that appear below our instruments.

When I tested Kontakt 8 player I noticed that the option no longer exists and that we have to deal with unwanted ads. A very unpleasant environment in which to work, especially as in Ableton Live the ads appear each time the plug-in is opened, it does not keep the banner hidden. Given that Kontakt 8 player is free, maybe that's where it's coming from?

Would someone using the paid version of Kontakt 8 be so kind to tell me if there is still the ‘Enable “New Instruments for you” panel’ box to uncheck?

    Yes it is - the player version doesn't have that in 7 either
