I've had this soundcard some years now and it occasionally did this but it seems to do it even more now I have built a new PC even though it is running Windows 11 same as my old one.
After being in sleep mode or shutting down the computer the soundcard will not work even though it is still connected to my computer . The soundcard is still connected as I have to eject it from the 'eject media' setting in the OS then unplug the soundcard and plug it back in again. This is with Windows 11 but it has done it with Windows 8 and 10 in the past.
I have tried turning 'selective suspend off' in the power settings , but it makes no difference. I've noticed in the Driver properties it says that it needs further installation , but I have removed it and installed it again and it is still the same .
I know this is an old soundcard but I'm sure plenty of people still use it.
