Software for Komplete Kontrol S88

Hi:

I bought a used S88 on ebay a while ago. The thing was really beat up, but I invested a couple of hundred pounds and got it up and running. What I don't have is the software to fully integrate it with my computer. I wrote to Native and they advised me to get in touch with the original owner and arrange to have the software transferred. This proved impossible. So my question: What software do I need and how do I go about obtaining it?

You can download the starter pack from here - Komplete Start | Free music production software (native-instruments.com)

You'll need a copy of Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 for the MK1 keyboard which you can download from here - Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 - Last VST2 supported version — Community (native-instruments.com)

I'm not sure if you need to register the hardware for the MK1 keyboards, but loading the software to try is a good start. @Jeremy_NI or @Mert_NI might be able to confirm, probably on Monday now

Thank you so much. I think I already have the Komplete Start software…will download the Kontrol version you mentioned , and, if its OK , get back to you. I don't mind telling you, I pretty much only use MIDI, NOT USB/ computer to make music on my DAW, so this stuff can be quite confusing to me. I appreciate your time and your patience. Cheers!
