Suddenly Native Instruments doesn't show up in Protools

I haven't changed anything on my system. Everything was working great then earlier today I went to load Kontakt on an Inst track and it doesn't even come up in the plugin drop down menu. I've uninstalled then reinstalled all Native Instruments software including Kontakt, following the NI guidelines, and still same thing.
Anyone have baby ideas?

No you're not :)

Since PT 2023.3 Pro Tools support M/Silicon AAX plug-ins, which means if you want to use older plug-ins such as Kontakt 6 (that will never support native Silicon AAX) you would need to run PT in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta

All current NI plug-ins have Silicon support. You can also find a list on Avid's site:

@jweldonwillis Please give this a try first: Open Kontakt in standalone, does it crash as well? If it does, apply these steps: Kontakt Crashes

If that doesn't work, try the following:

Delete this file: Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plug-Ins > Kontakt 7.aaxplugin
Open ProTools
Close ProTools
Reinstall Kontakt 7 in Native Access
Open Kontakt 7 in standalone, close it
Open ProTools again

Did that work out?

Nope, Native Instruments still doesn't even show up in the drop down plugin manufacturer window

No NI applications show up when i open pro tools.

Have you tried the steps above? ☝️(deleting AAX files)

What version of ProTools are you using? What's your operating system? When did that start to happen?

I think it just started and after I went to pro tools latest update. (within the past two or three weeks)

ProTools Studio 2024.6

Mac mini m2 pro 14.1.2

What plug-ins are missing exactly? are they Native Silicon AAX plug-ins?

Those plugins don't show up in my plug ins folder at all.. strange. Nothing from NI is in the plug ins folder

@Martianluther Are you sure you're looking in the right folder (it's the local library, not the user)? Can you share a screenshot of the inside of the folder:

Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plug-Ins

It should look like this:

Have you tried reinstalling one of them and see if that fixes it?
