Hi,

can anyone please tell me HOW on Earth I can control Spitfire plugins' parameters using Kontrol S49 mk3? Should it not be possible?! I open the plugin within Komplete Kontrol.

Also, does anyone else get Chinese (?) symbols when touching knobs on the Kontrol S49 mk3 controller? Photo attached.

I would appreciate any hints.

Thanks, Wojtek

Simple - Spitfire have not updated their "so called NKS Compatible" plugins to be compatible with current NKS. It's a black mark against an otherwise good business in my view. They are aware of it but don't give it any resource priority to sort out.

It's unfortunately a common thing because most developers out there only have NKS for a few of their plugins so they can take advantage of the NI promotion but NKS is a cumbersome amount of work that many devs simply either have no interest or resources to really maintain so it's usually very slow (or non existent) to see any updates or improvements as the user base is usually a very small % overall.

This is why you often see developers offer NKS for a few plugins but not all of them because they don't want the headache of maintaining it. There are other reasons too, but that is the basic gist from the years I have been inquiring with various developers.
