NATIVE INSTRUMENTS SIMPLY DOES NOT CARE

I mean, the discussion title says it all. I've purchased items that require Kontakt to access and I've had to wash my hands of it in trying to access them and take the monetary hit. Getting through to "customer support" is a joke, and even then, they put the onus on you the consumer for whatever the problem is, even though so many of the same issues are so common it's almost an inside joke.

Native Instruments, a once great company, now totally sucks. They're only good at plugging and successfully selling THEIR products when you're trying to navigate their convoluted and redundant third-party plugin services.

That's it. End of rant.

Kontakt Player is free, mate. Just saying…

Unless your purchased libraries need full version of Kontakt, then you haven’t done your homework prior to purchase, sorry.

So are you saying the free kontakt player is more stable than the full kontakt?

They should be identical in stability since they are the same program - only separated by a retail serial number (and authorization).

They are both equally stable/unstable 🤣

The OP said that he purchased some “items” (I guess libraries) which require Kontakt “to access”. The fact he seems to be slightly disappointed about. That was my understanding of the problem, I can be wrong of course, the post was quite cryptic, tbh 🤪

Exactly. As James Brown once sang, talking loud and saying nothing.

A lot of moaning, but about what? No details about what the actual issue is.

Not unusual around here though. So many first time posters complaining about……..something. 🙄

dude, i feel you. i had everything working great, and decided to back up both my internal and external drives. swapped out the external for a newer one in the process, and seriously regretting it. Native Access works about every other time you launch it, Battery stills sees the old drive no matter what I do, all my expansions packs aren't working even though they're all connected to the new drive, random instruments require updates even though everything was current before transferring. such a nightmare. feeling really stupid for being proactive. i can't even find the place to submit a ticket like you could previously, you have to go through the chat now. such a headache

Thank you too for telling us exactly what your issue is.

This could have been so much easier.
