you don‘t need to buy the cable from Native Instruments. I use DJ Techtools Chroma Cables with my S4 and my other NI controllers. Available as USB-C-to-B and USB-A-to-B. But any USB cable should do.

There is no S4 mk3. Do you mean a USB cable? You need a USB-B to USB-C cable.
