Cannot update Komplete Kontrol S49 Mk1

Hey folks,

I bought a new Mac Mini (comes with Sonoma pre-installed) and I've recently reconnected my Komplete Kontrol S49 Mk1 keyboard - the editor says it requires an update, but when it downloads it says it's incompatible with this version of the Mac.

Will I need to wait till the firmware updates for Komplete Kontrol are compatible or is there a workaround? Any help would be appreciated!

So far I've found it (sort of) works through the Maschine app...

The MK1 keyboards are End of Life now and aren't getting any updates. Which version of the editor did you download? Was it 3.1 from Native Access or 2.9.6 from the forum link here Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 - Last VST2 supported version — Community (native-instruments.com)

Hi @mykejb I have Controller Editor 2.8.2 and I've reverted back to Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 (it now works thanks). However I can't update the firmware of the keyboard it doesn't seem compatible with Sonoma.

I get this message in the controller editor:

Then when I download it, can't open the firmware updater:

I'm assuming I'd need to run a VM with an older OS to get it working maybe?
