learn to play piano with native instruments keyboard light guide

hi

is there an app / tool to learn to play piano especially with the komplete kontrol light guide?

the light guide would be very predestined for learning to play piano, right?

i watched the youtube video about the light guide, there is only a high-light, when you play certain instruments/loops, so i wonder, why there is no better implementation / "use" for the light guide, given the long period of its existence ? otherwise, i might not be fully informed..

actually, the light guide was my key fact to buy the S88 :)

at my purchase, there was a free voucher for melodic app trainings, though there is no explicit mention of "learning to play piano with the light guide" (6month free voucher are over)

While I'm not sure about any specific training, I do know that you can use chord mode via play assist to activate the lightbar. There are various modes that will show you which keys you're supposed to press, but I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for.

Definitely a good idea for a MIDI 2 app, where the program can tell the keyboard to light up certain keys and then you play them.

No there is not, tho it has been suggested for the last 10 years as a desirable feature, unlikely we will see anything.

I did post numerous times now on the old forum how to setup a DAW to send MIDI notes out to there keyboard to light up the keys while another track plays the actual key hits back from the keybed. I did this for some time with my daughter for practice and worked great. Alas, that info is now gone and I just CBF to explain it over again here. Maybe I should have made a video on how to set it up, but if you know how to use a DAW and rout MIDI, should be easy enough to figure out.
