Komplete kontrol & Kontakt / Arturia Libraries - M1
Hello
After trying out the latest version of Komplete Kontrol and sadly I am still get the error of "plugin could not be loaded, as it may not yet support Apple silicon or VST2 to VST3 Migration"
Has anyone still got this or has anyone come up with a fix for this?
I tried it with my Arturia plugins and this time they loaded up fine, whereas on other occasions with older version of complete kontrol they haven't
The fact that it is the latest version of Komplete Kontrol, and every single version prior to that has done it, Im thinking it is something to do with Kontakt, as it is showing that error when I try and load a library up. Even the newer libraries such as Sessions Guitarist Mint bring up the error
Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you have a really old version of Kontakt

Did you try something obvious to try with the error given , like opening it all in Rosetta ?
Else , did you double-check the must always check N.I. thing , the full disk access to ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon ?
Also , please consult the page Compatibility of Native Instruments Products on macOS !
Other than that then please supply such basic information as specific OS version ? , Kontakt version in question ? Native Access version used and Komplete Kontrol version used ! Also does the problem happen also when using the N.I. apps as stand-alone or only inside a DAW ?

Yes but that won't give you migration errors as it's Apple Silicon native so you may have an older version somewhere on your system

That's odd - Kontakt 7 is Apple Silicon compatible so should not be giving migration errors. Can you post a screenshot of the error message? Also what DAW are you using it in?
If you are using Logic, have you installed the VST3 version of Kontakt or just the AU? (you need both)

You did not respond so I will try again, to trouble-shoot then it is important that you give the information needed. I am not the Mac expert here , but the Mac experts (e.g. Jeremy_NI) still are going to need the information that I ask for ! Also , despite what you think then some problems have actually been solved by trying to run it all in Rosetta and switching to not Rosetta after that ! . It might not work/help but is still worth trying !

Have you tried opening the KK standalone app, and performing a plug-in re-scan?

Hmm.
I'd expect to see that error if I did not have the latest version of everything you mention installed (since all of those are Sonoma compatible) and had not done a rescan, but this would be the first instance of up to date installations experiencing that error and not seeing a rescan resolve it.

Still need to know if you have the VST3 installed and what DAW? (and a screenshot of the error message would also be useful) thanks

there is a Kontakt7.VST3 in the VST3 folder and I am using Logic Pro

@Kymeia this is what it is saying and then on some other occasion, specifically if I put logic in rosetta mode, it says 'could not load plugin'

If the stand-alone version of KK runs fine (?) (Ref. yes I did)
Did you then try the reset Logic to default by deleting this file ? : Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic10.plist

This is Hive not Kontakt, you said the problem was with Kontakt. What error message are you getting with your Kontakt libraries?
To fix Hive you just need to rescan the plugins but not in Rosetta mode, don't use that if you can help it
