Every time I go to open Kontakt 7 after updating to 7.8.1 it crashes. Serious frustrating bug going on here!
Still no response for an older installer from NI since Saturday.
I had to fully uninstall Kontakt 7 to get my logic project to open.
Now I'm using stock sounds.
Real nice pRoFeSSiOnaL setup I've bought into here.
Bugs and issues are expected. What I didn't expect was NI to gate check access to literally the previous working version. How does that help anyone??
If you are running MSI Afterburner and/or Riva Tuner. Close it before opening up your DAW/Kontakt7.
Its the RTSS hook, that is making Kontakt7 crash your DAW.

Inside Riva Tuner I made specific profiles for Komplete kontrol, Kontakt and Ableton, changing for everyone the "Application detection level" from low to None.
Now Komplete kontrol doesn't crash anymore, thank you again :)

Ah, ok thanks for the info. I shall try this; just glad I was able to figure it out. lol, driving me mad!!
Glad to know I'm not alone but SHHEET this needs a fix ASAP. What's taking them so long?? Seems like ever sense the great merge of companies there have been a lot of issues going unresolved. Not a good look.
