If I buy a used S88 Mk 2 will it work with my Native Access software that I have already purchased independently?

I'm thinking of switching my Kurzweil workstation for a NI keyboard.

Thanks

I'm also wondering if it makes any difference to buy a used S88 Mk2 WITH or WITHOUT software if I'm not the registered user of any software it might come with?

Native Access doesn't have really anything to do with your keyboard, only the libraries you may have downloaded. If they're older libraries they may have problems, but that's more about the versions of Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol. However it it makes you feel better I have both a S49 MK2 and a S88 MK3 and both work perfectly well with the most recent versions of Native Access, Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol.

When you get the S-Series keyboard hardware serial transferred from seller's account to your account by seller then you ought to automatically get the 'base software' for the keyboard which is Komplete Select ! However I do not know rules good enough to know if you get the old version of Select from when keyboard were bought originally or if you get the new version of Komplete Select , my personal guess is that you will get the new version ! Also , anybody can get the Komplete Start added to their account for free !

Please check the Buying or Selling a Native Instruments Product Second-Hand for the particulars !
