It keeps saying a newer version is available, but it never loads.
I found this in another thread. Even though I had 3.9.1 installed already, I downloaded it from the link and reinstalled it. Works now!

Hey all, Native Access 3.9.1 is out and fixes the issue, you can download it from here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/
As already suggested by mmk_music then if you ever have problems with auto updating Native Access then please exit the Native Access application and download latest version of Native Access for your OS (unless you are using a legacy OS , Mac 10.15 and earlier / Win 7 downloads) and install the new version. In some cases if there appear to be problems getting that to work then additional troubles-shooting steps may have to be taken !
