Removing serial from my account
How do I remove a serial from my NI account?
I need to send a product back and I mistakingly already activated the serial.

The only way is to ask NI Support.
Sidenote. Once product being activated there is no legal right for return. But if seller does not mind, no problem....

As Kubrak wrote then if you have redeemed the serial then you have most likely forfeit your right to return , Please consult the Terms and Conditions. But as Kubrak also suggests then the final decision is up to customer service !
