If you sell your tractor S4MK3 do you have to release your name off of that serial number? What happens with the traktor software. Does the new owner get the software as well.

I think that is the right way to do it since the serial number belongs to the hardware and the software is bundled with it.

There are two options:

you can sell just the hardware, then the registered software stays in your account.
you can request a transfer id (https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/209566129-How-to-Request-a-License-Transfer-ID-to-Sell-Your-NI-Product) then you sell it with software and lose the registration in your account
